We are now engaged in a process of reorganizing and revitalizing our Jeff Davis County Democratic Party. In a very short time, we have selected a new county chair and a county executive committee, with new precinct chairs for all five Jeff Davis County precincts, and a secretary. Our party has adopted a new set of by-laws, approved a 2023 budget, and scheduled regular monthly meetings. Our office will remain open at least through the November 2024 general elections. 
 
Jeanine Bishop and Vicki Gibson continue to maintain our Jeff Davis County Democrats Facebook page, and we have constructed this new website to better communicate with current and prospective members, and to express our views. 

Our party is actively focusing on state and local issues. We are organizing Action Committees to make a difference on issues such as education and teacher pay, immigration, healthcare, reproductive rights, climate change, and gun violence. Our volunteers are registering new voters; developing reliable information on elections, candidates, and local and state issues; and communicating that information to voters and elected officials.
